Weston A. Price Foundation (realmilk.com/milk-cure) :

By J. R. Crewe, MD
January 1929

The following is an edited version of an article by Dr. J. R. Crewe, of the Mayo Foundation, forerunner of the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, published in Certified Milk Magazine, January 1929. We are grateful to Dr. Ron Schmid, ND of Middlebury, CT for unearthing this fascinating piece. The “Milk Cure” was the subject of at least two books by other authors, written subsequently to Dr. Crewe’s work. The milk used was, in all cases, the only kind of milk available in those days—raw milk from pasture-fed cows, rich in butterfat. The treatment is a combination of detoxifying fast and nutrient-dense feeding. Note that Crewe quotes William Osler, author of a standard medical textbook of the day. Thus, this protocol was an orthodox, accepted therapy in the early 1900s. Today the Mayo Clinic provides surgery and drug treatments, but nothing as efficacious and elegant as the Milk Cure.

For fifteen years the writer has employed the certified milk treatment in various diseases and during the past ten he had a small sanitarium devoted principally to this treatment. The results obtained in various types of disease have been so uniformly excellent that one’s conception of disease and its alleviation is necessarily changed. The method itself is so simple that it does not greatly interest most doctors and the main stimulus for its use is from the patients themselves.

To cure disease we should seek to improve elimination, to make better blood and more blood, to build up the body resistance. The method used tends to accomplish these things. Blood conditions rapidly improve and the general condition and resistance is built up and recovery follows.

In several instances, Osler (Principles and Practices of Medicine, by William Osler, MD eighth edition) speaks of milk as being nothing more than white blood. Milk resembles blood closely and is a useful agent for improving and making new and better blood. Blood is the chief agent of metabolism. Milk is recognized in medical literature almost exclusively as a useful food and is admitted to be a complete food.

The therapy is simple. The patients are put at rest in bed and are given at half hour intervals small quantities of milk, totalling from five to ten quarts of milk a day. Most patients are started on three or four quarts of milk a day and this is usually increased by a pint a day. Diaphoresis [copious perspiration] is stimulated by hot baths and hot packs and heat in other forms. A daily enema is given.

The treatment is used in many chronic conditions but chiefly in tuberculosis, diseases of the nervous system, cardiovascular and renal conditions, hypertension, and in patients who are underweight, run-down, etc. Striking results are seen in diseases of the heart and kidneys and high blood pressure. In cases in which there is marked edema, the results obtained are surprisingly marked. This is especially striking because so-called dropsy has never been treated with large quantities of fluid. With all medication withdrawn, one case lost twenty-six pounds in six days, huge edema disappearing from the abdomen and legs, with great relief to the patient. No cathartics or diuretics were given. This property of milk in edema has been noted in both cardiac and renal cases.

Patients with cardiac disease respond splendidly without medication. In patients who have been taking digitalis and other stimulants, the drugs are withdrawn. High blood pressure patients respond splendidly and the results in most instances are quite lasting. The treatment has been used successfully in obesity without other alimentation. One patient reduced from 325 pounds to 284 in two weeks, on four quarts of milk a day, while her blood pressure was reduced from 220 to 170. Some extremely satisfying results have been obtained in a few cases of diabetics.

When sick people are limited to a diet containing an excess of vitamins and all the elements necessary to growth and maintenance, which are available in milk, they recover rapidly without the use of drugs and without bringing to bear all the complicated weapons of modern medicine.

Under the head of Treatment in Chronic Gastritis, Osler has said, “A rigid milk diet should be tried” (Principles and Practices of Medicine, by William Osler, M.D., eighth edition). And quoting from George Cheyne, he wrote, “Milk and sweet sound blood differ in nothing but color: milk is blood.” Under the heading of treatment in many diseases, it was true that he had little to say about drugs but did say a good deal about diet and particularly as in most every instance he recommended large quantities of milk.

Under chronic Bright’s disease (p 704) he says, “Milk or buttermilk should constitute for a time, the chief article of food.” Under treatment of cancer of stomach (p 505), he says many patients do best on milk alone. Under treatment of rheumatic fever (p 378), he says, “Milk is the most suitable diet.” With Olser as a background, one need not hesitate to go a bit farther. In fact, practically all medical men are agreed as to the value of milk as a food, and as an important part of the diet in the treatment of many diseases. But as the chief remedy in the treatment of disease, it is seldom used.

For more than 16 years I have conducted a small sanitarium where milk is used almost exclusively in the treatment of various diseases. The results have been so regularly satisfactory that I have naturally become enthusiastic and interested in this method of treating disease. We used good Guernsey milk, equal to 700 calories to the quart.

Interestingly, diseases that have no similarity respond equally to this treatment. For instance, psoriasis clears up beautifully. The improvement in tuberculosis or nephritis is equally interesting but there is no similarity in these diseases. I once heard a very distinguished medical man discussing a case of psoriasis. He said, “This was the worst case of psoriasis I have ever seen. This boy was literally covered from head to foot with scales. We put this boy on a milk diet and in less than a month he had a skin like a baby’s.” To me, this means that there was evidently some nutritive substance or vitamin or glandular secretion lacking, that was furnished by the milk.

It is well known that there is no time in the life of practically any mammal, but especially of the human, when the body is so beautiful and perfect as during the period when milk is the only food. It will be admitted that there is no period in life when the body is so perfect as in infancy, the infant being fed on milk from a healthy mother.

The Arabs are said (Encyclopedia Brittanica) to be the finest race, physically, in the world. Their diet consists mostly of milk and milk products with fruits and vegetables, and some meat.

You are all familiar with the writings of Colonel McCarrison, a medical officer in the British Army. He tells us that for nine years he was stationed in India in a district in the Himalayan Mountains. He said that the natives were very fine physically, that they retained a youthful appearance to advanced age and lived long and that they were very fertile. During the nine years of his residence there he saw practically no disease, no cases of malignancy or of abdominal disease. The diet of these people was simple and consisted principally of vegetables and fruits and milk and milk products.

Steffanson wrote most interestingly of the Eskimo, who, when uncontaminated by civilized conditions were hardy and robust. Their diet of course was almost entirely of meat and fish. He tells us, however, that the habits of meat-eating people are similar to those of carnivorous animals. The wolf first attacks the heart and gets the blood and later eats the glandular organs and viscera, leaving the muscle meats till the last. The Eskimo does the same thing.

During one expedition Mr. Steffanson and party started on a nine months’ trip over the Arctic ice with only one day’s provisions. All previous Arctic explorers had said that civilized men could not live in the Arctic regions without bringing in their supplies. Mr. Steffanson and his party, during the nine months, were almost never without an abundance of food, and much of it was eaten frozen and raw. I wish to show from Steffanson’s experience, first, that it is possible for people to be robust and maintain good health on various types of food of limited variety. That the condition common to all types of diet is, that much of the food is eaten raw. I wish to say here that our very excellent results obtained in the treatment of disease were had with uncooked food and raw milk.

The experience of seeing many cases of illness improve rapidly on a diet of raw milk has suggested more and more the feeling that much of modern disease is due to an increasing departure from simple methods of preparing plain foods. The treatment of various diseases over a period of 18 years with a practically exclusive milk diet has convinced me personally that the most important single factor in the cause of disease and in the resistance to disease is food. I have seen so many instances of the rapid and marked response to this form of treatment that nothing could make me believe this is not so.

We have often seen most satisfactory results in the treatment of anemia, including pernicious anemia, on a milk diet. I have repeatedly seen a marked reduction in the size of simple and toxic thyroid, with improvement in the symptoms of the toxic one. In prostatic diseases and associated conditions, this treatment will achieve rapid and marked improvement in the infection and in the reduction of the gland and lessening of obstruction. A professor of surgery in one of our state universities once said to me, “Since I have used your method in preparing prostate cases, I have had most excellent results and no mortality.” I replied that if he had continued the treatment a little longer, he would not need to operate. All infections of the urinary tract are greatly improved by this treatment.

An old friend of mine, a woodworker, aged 74, had a marked heart lesion and complete prostatic obstruction, so that it was necessary to use a permanent catheter. He had been taking digitalis but this was discontinued, and he received no medication of any kind. The prostate was very large and the residual urine very foul. His recovery has been rapid, and he has been able to work since that time and is now in very good health at 77 years of age. Another local man was treated six years ago for a severe chronic winter cough and prostatic disease, which necessitated his getting up many times at night. He volunteered the information a few days ago that he had no more trouble with any illness since that time.

Indeed we had a number of patients who took the treatment for “beauty treatment.” The tissues become firmer and the general appearance is markedly improved.

One patient with very advanced cardiac and nephritic disease lost over thirty pounds of edema in six weeks. One would expect the large quantities of fluid would increase the edema but the above experience has been repeated many times in lesser degrees.

Hypertension responds with equal gratification. The blood pressure improves rapidly. I have never seen such rapid and lasting results by any other method. One of the patients lived almost exclusively on milk for more than three years.

About ten years ago a very sick man came to the Sanitarium suffering from a severe cystitis and nephritis. He was a diabetic. As milk contains about five percent milk sugar, it was feared that he could not manage this amount of sugar. But he did manage it, and improved in every way and in eight weeks was sugar free. My experience with milk diet in diabetes has been limited, but very interesting. These few patients, only seven or eight, have been much pleased with the results. Insulin was used for a time in some of the cases. They all became sugar free, or nearly so, after from four to ten weeks. From the fact that these patients were able to use a much more liberal diet than diabetics usually can take [after the treatment], it would seem to indicate that at least a partial regeneration of the pancreas is not impossible.

Recently I received a letter from a soldier who was confined in a government hospital in Arizona [for tuberculosis]. He said a former patient of mine had induced him to try this method. He said that he had done so well that a number of the men were also attempting it and he had written for more definite instructions. He also said that the patients had to buy their own milk and received no encouragement from the hospital authorities.

There is a large class of patients who are ill but in whom no definite organic lesion can be found. These patients are often underweight. They may consume a fairly large amount of food but they do not gain in weight or strength. These patients do respond admirably to our system of large quantities of milk.

The chief fault of the treatment is that it is too simple. Patients attempt to do it at home, but there are many pitfalls, and it does not appeal to the modern medical man.

This article was reprinted in the Summer 2002 edition of Wise Traditions, the quarterly journal of the Weston A. Price Foundation.

Iron also potentiates the toxicity of mercury, a known culprit in this disease model.

5) Glutathione is a critical antioxidant / detoxifier, and depletion leads to mitochondrial dysfunction and disease, including Parkinson's.

6) Supplementing Riboflavin allows the body to metabolize and sequester Iron properly, replenishes the body's stores of glutathione (at least partially), and reverses the condition.

7) Within 6 months, motor function increased from an average 44% to 77%. In some mild cases, motor function improved to 100%. No negative side effects except the expected yellow urine. No loss of benefit if they skipped a few days (cumulative effect).

My notes:
One other aspect of Parkinson's, and many other neurodegenerative diseases, is heavy metal (and solvent, like toluene) toxicity. Iron potentiates and multiplies the toxic effect of Mercury. Mercury causes glutathione depletion! Any mercury exposure is exacerbated by the Riboflavin deficiency. Glutathione becomes the rate-limiter, and by supplementing glutathione we could also reduce symptoms, but supplementing glutathione is not easy. Before I knew about Riboflavin being so darn effective, I did know that glutathione could have incredible benefit. I'll never forget a patient that came to the SCNM student clinic once per month for a Glutathione IV "push". I would sit beside him and gently push a 100mL syringe into his veins over the course of about an hour. (Glutathione injections can "burn" if they go too fast.) The patient was a former executive with IntelCorp, and had a decades of exposures to metals, acids, and solvents that are used in computer chip-making. His Parkinson's symptoms went completely silent after the glutathione push and he only needed to come once a month to keep it at bay. Glutathione is digested by the gut, and so it can't be given orally. It can be inhaled/nebulized. I could get into that in another blog. For oral supplementation, we suggest "Augmented NAC," which is a name-brand formula of N-Acetyl-Cysteine. NAC is the rate-limiting amino acid used in the formation of glutathione in the body. It's a sulphur-containing amino acid...more on Sulphur later! Sulphur is a big part of detoxification (as well as building collagen, but that's beside the point).

Lab tests: A blood test for Riboflavin status is available through most major labs like Quest.
Riboflavin supplements: Some riboflavin supplements come in a "phosphorylated" form. In this case if would be denoted as R5P or Riboflavin-5-phosphate. We're led to believe that this form is more bioavailable, and skips a step our body would have to do, and saves the energy required to do it. If you don't see R5P, I'm sure the generic form would be helpful.
Why yellow urine?: Riboflavin is water soluble, and yellow-colored. The word "flavin" means "yellow." That simple. There's no harm done to the kidneys on it's way out of the body.

PAPER BELOW: https://www.scielo.br/j/bjmbr/a/BM4WLJBtjxF8Cx3wFsjFhKb/?lang=en

High doses of riboflavin and the elimination of dietary red meat promote the recovery of some motor functions in Parkinson's disease patients

Abnormal riboflavin status in the absence of a dietary deficiency was detected in 31 consecutive outpatients with Parkinson's disease (PD), while the classical determinants of homocysteine levels (B6, folic acid, and B12) were usually within normal limits. In contrast, only 3 of 10 consecutive outpatients with dementia without previous stroke had abnormal riboflavin status. The data for 12 patients who did not complete 6 months of therapy or did not comply with the proposed treatment paradigm were excluded from analysis. Nineteen PD patients (8 males and 11 females, mean age ± SD = 66.2 ± 8.6 years; 3, 3, 2, 5, and 6 patients in Hoehn and Yahr stages I to V) received riboflavin orally (30 mg every 8 h) plus their usual symptomatic medications and all red meat was eliminated from their diet. After 1 month the riboflavin status of the patients was normalized from 106.4 ± 34.9 to 179.2 ± 23 ng/ml (N = 9). Motor capacity was measured by a modification of the scoring system of Hoehn and Yahr, which reports motor capacity as percent. All 19 patients who completed 6 months of treatment showed improved motor capacity during the first three months and most reached a plateau while 5/19 continued to improve in the 3- to 6-month interval. Their average motor capacity increased from 44 to 71% after 6 months, increasing significantly every month compared with their own pretreatment status (P < 0.001, Wilcoxon signed rank test). Discontinuation of riboflavin for several days did not impair motor capacity and yellowish urine was the only side effect observed. The data show that the proposed treatment improves the clinical condition of PD patients. Riboflavin-sensitive mechanisms involved in PD may include glutathione depletion, cumulative mitochondrial DNA mutations, disturbed mitochondrial protein complexes, and abnormal iron metabolism. More studies are required to identify the mechanisms involved.

Parkinson's disease; Riboflavin; Flavin-adenine dinucleotide; Glutathione; Iron; Hemin

Taken together with the rapid and profound neurological improvement associated with normalization of riboflavin status, this observation suggests that altered riboflavin status may be a cause of neurodegeneration in PD.

Although urinary excretion of riboflavin peaks within 1-2 h and returns to baseline within 5-6 h after a large oral dose (3), the benefit achieved did not vanish in four PD patients over a therapeutic interval of up to 7 days. This observation suggests the occurrence of steady plastic changes rather than a pharmacological effect of high-dose riboflavin treatment to account for the improved motor capacity shown in Figure 1. The steady build-up of the motor recovery observed during the first 3 months of treatment suggests that this treatment paradigm may inactivate fundamental neurodegenerative mechanisms (e.g., glutathione depletion, considered to be an early key event in the pathogenesis of PD (23,24)), possibly allowing regenerative plastic phenomena to occur.

The importance of the elimination of dietary red meat for the results reported here is not known. The content of vitamin B2 in meat in general is considerable (about 0.2 mg/100 g), and diverse cooking procedures cause only minor (7-18%) loss of this micronutrient (25). The daily requirement for individuals above the age of 14 years is £1.3 mg/day. Therefore, if the PD patients had a normal absorptive capacity for vitamin B2, their large ingestion of red meat (up to 700 g/day), associated with milk, rice and beans, fruits and vegetables, should have provided a normal riboflavin status. In contrast, 31 consecutive PD patients had laboratory evidence for riboflavin deficiency (Table 2) suggesting that patients with sporadic PD belong to the subset of the general population (10-15%) (3) that may express a flavokinase with low affinity for vitamin B2, leading to a decreased absorption.

However, the digestion of red meat releases hemin, a highly diffusible toxin that, when not properly inactivated, increases intracellular iron concentrations and enhances hydroxyl radical production (Fenton reaction). Most of the absorbed hemin is destroyed by the enzyme heme oxygenase (HO) in the digestive tract and liver (26). Because HO is oxidized during the catabolization of hemin to biliverdin, the HO molecules must be reduced through the coordinated activity of the flavoenzyme cytochrome P450 reductase for continued hemin inactivation (Figure 2) (27). Cytochrome P450 reductase is particularly sensitive to riboflavin deficiency because it requires both FMN and FAD as prosthetic groups (28). It is possible that individuals with decreased absorption of vitamin B2 may not completely inactivate high dietary levels of hemin, allowing this neurotoxic compound to reach the brain cells. Consistently, the staining for HO-1 isozyme is increased in astrocytes and reacts with neuronal Lewy bodies in the nigra of PD patients, suggesting that its overexpression may contribute to the pathological iron deposition and mitochondrial damage in PD (29). By binding glutathione (30) hemin may further decrease glutathione levels in the brains of PD patients through a direct mechanism.

Because humans lack efficient iron excretory mechanisms, iron excess is dealt with by increasing the synthesis of the iron-storage protein ferritin (31). Disturbed systemic (32) and brain (33) iron metabolism has been reported in PD, suggesting that a selective decrease in the levels of ferritin may result in an increase in intracellular free iron, thereby enhancing free radical production (34). Indeed, vitamin B2 deficiency in rodents is associated with low circulating iron concentrations, increased iron turnover and excretion into the intestinal lumen, which may occur in response to impaired ferritin synthesis (35,36). Therefore, the consistent finding of an abnormal riboflavin status in PD, as reported here, may help to explain the disturbed iron metabolism found in PD patients, with the underlying mechanisms possibly involving impaired hemin catabolism and reduced ferritin synthesis. Interestingly, the highest world prevalence of PD is found among the inhabitants of Buenos Aires (37), where the consumption of red meat is traditionally high. Similarly, the identification of high dietary animal fat as a risk factor for PD (37) may actually reflect a role of high dietary hemin in PD pathology.

Moreover, because FAD is required in the two alternative pathways of deoxynucleotide synthesis (2), DNA repair and replication are expected to be disturbed upon decreased bioavailability of riboflavin, and abnormal riboflavin status may also explain the cumulative mitochondrial DNA mutations reported in PD (38).

The present results with 19 PD patients who showed a significant improvement in motor function after treatment with riboflavin and the elimination of red meat from the diet suggest that an abnormal riboflavin status, possibly due to flavokinase deficiency, may be an essential requirement for triggering and sustaining the degeneration of dopaminergic neurons in PD. As a result of the reduced B2 bioavailability, ATP production is selectively preserved, while the less critical FAD- or FMN-dependent metabolic pathways are impaired (4). Consequently, free iron concentrations in the cytosol increase as a result of impaired ferritin synthesis and/or reduced hemin catabolism associated with hydrogen peroxide accumulation due to glutathione depletion, thereby triggering the Fenton reaction and ultimately leading to the selective formation of the potent neurotoxin 6(OH)DA in dopaminergic neurons.

Current concepts about the cause of sporadic PD suggest an inherited predisposition to environmental or endogenous toxic agents (39), and the data presented and reviewed here suggest that flavokinase deficiency should be considered in future research as a promising candidate to account for this inherited predisposition, while dietary factors such as red meat consumption may largely account for the environmental/endogenous toxicity. The administration of high doses of riboflavin combined or not with red meat elimination may be an effective therapeutic paradigm addressing the determinants of PD, capable of providing regression to earlier clinical stages, or even to the nonsymptomatic state without symptomatic drugs for PD (at least in some cases), rather than only disease stabilization or partial symptomatic relief.

Although the relentless progression of PD clearly contrasts with the results of the treatment paradigm reported here, a larger and more prolonged study is certainly required to document the steadiness and the full extent of the ongoing recovery. A scientifically desirable blinded clinical trial with a placebo would necessarily leave known riboflavin-deficient patients untreated for a long period of time, when their neurological disability may progress as a consequence of sustained loss of nigral neurons, possibly rendering the ultimate response to delayed normalization of their riboflavin levels less complete. Therefore, the need for controlled trials should be weighed ethically considering the contrast of the natural history of PD (progress of motor disability to death despite an increase in the efficacy of symptomatic drugs for PD treatment) with the outcome of the vitamin B2 treatment observed in larger and more prolonged studies without controls.

However, most significant were the results of laboratory tests. The drug administration resulted in activation of metabolism of kidney tissues and intensification of secretory kidney function, which is reflected in dynamics of biochemical indices of the patients (table 2).

According to the data shown in the table 2, the patients of the control group, treated using general purpose methods, had an improvement of biochemical blood indices, reflecting the kidney function. However these indices did not reach normal values. In patients of the basic group the biochemical parameters has reached normal values for men and women. Thus, non-protein nitrogen in the control group has made on the average before treatment 35,4±0,8 (mmol/l, and after treatment – 30,5±0,6 (mmol/l (p<0,05), however in patients o the basic group the parameter decreased to 27,1±0,4 (mmol/l, which is definitely lower in comparison to the control group and corresponds to lower normal limit (28,6 (mmol/l). Same tendency can be seen in the dynamics of the blood urea: decrease in the initially elevated parameter in patients of both groups, however in the basic group this parameter has made 9,2±0,3 (mmol/l, which is close to its normal value (8,3 (mmol/l).

There are also characteristic changes of uric acid content: both in men and women of the basic group after additional use of the drug under examination, the parameters were normalized – in men the amount of uric acid has decreased to 0,44±0,02 (mmol/l (in the control group 0,56±0,01 (mmol/l, norm up to 0,50 (mmol/l);

Background/Objectives: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) are neurodevelopmental disorders marked by challenges in social interaction, communication, and repetitive behaviors. People with ASD may exhibit repetitive behaviors, unique ways of learning, and different ways of interacting with the world. The term “spectrum” reflects the wide variability in how ASD manifests in individuals, including differences in abilities, symptoms, and support needs, and conditions characterized by difficulties in social interactions, communication, restricted interests, and repetitive behaviors. Inflammation plays a crucial role in the pathophysiology, with increased pro-inflammatory cytokines in cerebrospinal fluid. Previous studies with transcranial magnetic stimulation have shown promising results, suggesting nervous system susceptibility to electromagnetic fields, with evidence indicating that extremely low-frequency electromagnetic field (ELF-EMF) treatment may modulate inflammatory responses through multiple pathways, including the reduction of pro-inflammatory cytokines like IL-6 and TNF-α, and the enhancement of anti-inflammatory mediators.

Methods: This pilot study included 20 children (ages 2–13) with a confirmed diagnosis of ASD. A 15-week protocol involved ELF-EMF treatments using the SEQEX device, with specific day and night programs. Assessment was conducted through standardized pre- and post-treatment tests: Achenbach Child Behavior Checklist, Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test-4, Expressive One Word Picture Vocabulary Test-4, and Conner’s 3GI.

Results: Statistically significant improvements were observed in receptive language (PPVT-4: from 74.07 to 90.40, p = 0.002) and expressive language (EOWPVT-4: from 84.17 to 90.50, p = 0.041). Notable reductions, with statistical significance, were found in externalizing problems across both age groups (1.5–5 years: p = 0.028; 6–18 years: p = 0.027), with particular improvement in attention and behavioral problems. The results were observed over a short period of 15 weeks, therefore excluding the possibility of coincidental age-related gains, that would typically occur during a normal developmental timeframe. Parent evaluations showed significant reduction in ASD symptoms, particularly in the 1.5–5 years group (p = 0.046).

Conclusions: ELF-EMF treatment demonstrated a high safety profile and efficacy in mitigating ASD-related symptoms. The observed improvements suggest both direct effects on central and autonomic nervous systems and indirect effects through inflammatory response modulation. Further studies are needed to confirm these promising results through broader demographics and randomized control designs.

Participants were randomly assigned to two groups: an experimental group (n = 74) with osteopathic palpation and assessment treated with a sequence of electromagnetic fields, and a control group (n = 74) receiving a placebo treatment. Both groups were assessed at this study’s outset, 4 weeks after eight applications, and at 12 weeks for symptomatic presentation and laboratory parameters.

(3) Results: After 4 weeks of treatment, a significant difference was observed between the two groups regarding D-DIMER levels, IL-6 levels, erythrocyte levels, leukocyte levels, and E. coli levels (p < 0.001). By the 12th week, the experimental group continued to exhibit a significant reduction in the examined parameters compared to the control group (p < 0.001). Additionally, the treatment did not induce any side effects in the patients in the experimental group.

(4) Conclusions: Treatment with coherently sequenced electromagnetic fields, modulated at an extremely low frequency and intensity, not only appears to provide an effective alternative for the symptoms of chronic bacterial cystitis caused by drug-resistant E. coli but also demonstrates a potent antibacterial effect.

Each year, over 2.8 million antibiotic-resistant infections strike in the U.S. alone, leaving many patients searching for answers when traditional treatments fail. At drjonritz.com, I’m excited to introduce a revolutionary solution: **Induced Native Phage Therapy (INPT)**, powered by the innovative Inducen™ formulas. This cutting-edge therapy taps into your body’s natural defenses to fight infections with precision and safety. Let’s dive into what INPT is, how it works, and why it’s a game-changer in the battle against infections.

---

What Are Phages?

Phages, short for bacteriophages, are viruses that attack and destroy bacteria. They’re everywhere—nature’s most abundant organisms, outnumbering all other life forms combined. In your body, phages already coexist with bacteria, keeping harmful microbes in check without harming human cells. Unlike antibiotics, which can disrupt your entire system, phages are laser-focused, targeting only specific bacteria. This makes them a safe and powerful tool for fighting infections.

---

What Is INPT?

INPT takes phage therapy to the next level. Instead of introducing external phages, INPT activates the phages already living in your body—your "native phageome"—to target and eliminate specific infections. The secret lies in the **Inducen formulas**, water-based solutions infused with nanoparticle minerals that deliver precise signals. These signals "wake up" your native phages, directing them to attack the bacteria causing your illness, whether it’s a respiratory infection, gastrointestinal issue, or even chronic conditions like Lyme disease.

---

How Does INPT Work?

Imagine your body’s phages as a sleeping army, ready to defend you but waiting for orders. The Inducen formulas act like a commander, delivering electromagnetic signals that flip a switch in your phages, turning them from dormant to active warriors. Once activated, these phages hunt down and destroy the targeted bacteria with remarkable speed and accuracy. It’s a natural process—no synthetic drugs, no toxins—just your body’s own defenses, amplified to get the job done.

---

Why Choose INPT Over Antibiotics?

INPT offers compelling advantages over traditional antibiotics:

- **Precision Targeting:** It zeroes in on the specific bacteria causing your infection, leaving your beneficial gut flora untouched.

- **No Resistance:** Bacteria struggle to adapt to your own phages, reducing the risk of resistance compared to antibiotics.

- **Safety First:** With no toxic side effects, INPT is gentle on your system—no upset stomachs or allergic reactions here.

- **Versatility:** From acute food poisoning to chronic Lyme disease, INPT tackles a wide range of infections.

---

Real Results: What Can INPT Treat?

INPT has shown incredible promise across various conditions. For example, the Inducen-GI formula targets gastrointestinal infections like dysbiosis or food poisoning, while Inducen-Res addresses respiratory issues from the nose to the lungs. In a study of chronic Lyme disease patients, 77% saw complete elimination of targeted Borrelia bacteria after just four days, with results sustained weeks later. Whether you’re battling a stubborn sinus infection or a complex chronic illness, INPT offers a tailored, effective approach.

---

How Do You Use Inducen Formulas?

Using INPT is simple. The Inducen formulas come in small, sterile glass ampules. Just break one open, sip the contents with a straw, swish it in your mouth, and swallow. Typically, you’ll take one ampule two to three times a day. Acute infections might clear in 12-48 hours, while chronic conditions could take a few weeks. It’s straightforward, safe, and designed to fit into your daily routine.

---

Is It Safe?

Absolutely. INPT has an outstanding safety profile, with no reported adverse effects across thousands of patients. The formulas contain trace minerals—far below any toxicity levels—and work without triggering your immune system, avoiding the inflammation or sepsis risks tied to other treatments. However, it’s key to avoid mixing INPT with antibiotics or antivirals, as they can interfere with its precision.

---

A Word on Chronic Illness

For chronic conditions like Lyme disease, INPT can eliminate the infection, but lingering symptoms may stem from damage to your body’s "terrain"—think tissue, toxins, or stress. While INPT clears the invaders, full recovery might need extra support, like nutrition or regenerative therapies. Setting realistic expectations is key, and I’m here to guide you through the process.

---

The Future of Infection Care

INPT is more than a treatment—it’s a revolution. By harnessing your body’s native phages, it offers a safe, precise, and powerful alternative to antibiotics, especially as resistance continues to rise. At drjonritz.com, I’m committed to bringing you the latest in health innovation. Curious if INPT could help you?
