The only reason for "Plantar Fascitis" is because it was the podcaster's condition.  Could be any.

This one is about plantar fasciitis and the first thing he knocks is thick-soled shoes. 
If I were the type to meet up with a running group, I'd suggest we do some of these type exercises every once in a while.  I can picture planning it ahead, having drawings and descriptions of a half-dozen exercises, and try going through them at the parking-lot or top of the hill.
